Thank you for taking the time to review the It’s My Turn Now Georgia Adoption Photolisting website. Georgia’s featured children are looking for caring forever families to help make their dreams come true. The photos and descriptions on this website and in the It’s My Turn Now Georgia book feature children who want a family who will take them fishing, teach them how to cook or have some fun at an amusement park with them. Others just want the assurance of having a family that will allow them to live with their siblings. If you look deeper into these statements, though, what the children really want is a family. The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is committed to helping these children realize their dreams while helping your family grow.

It’s My Turn Now Georgia (IMTNGA) publicizes the need for permanent families for children from the Georgia foster care system in hopes of bringing together caring parents and waiting children to make forever families. These children are featured on this website and many are featured in the IMTNGA adoption photolisting book. Posters of waiting children, special displays, church bulletin inserts and flyers are also used to raise awareness about the need for permanent loving families for older children and sibling groups. IMTNGA does not have additional information on the children featured on this website, but IMTNGA can route home studies to the appropriate case manager for the children in whom families are interested for review and consideration.
The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) sponsors at least six adoption parties per year. These events allow prospective adoptive parents the opportunity to meet and interact with children in need of adoptive families and their case managers in a fun setting.
